Extradition to Sweden (Kingdom of Sweden) may take place on the basis of a European arrest warrant. German nationals can also be extradited to Sweden for prosecution on the basis of a European arrest warrant.
European arrest warrant from Sweden
The European arrest warrant shall be transmitted directly between the competent judicial authorities of both States.
In 2017/2018 I dealt with two cases of arrest warrants and extradition requests from Sweden. In both cases, Sweden withdrew the arrest warrants at the first resistance.
