Following an extradition request from Macedonia, the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court has ordered the Public Prosecutor's Office to obtain information on the conditions of detention in Macedonia. The Higher Regional Court refers to a report by the German embassy on the spot, in which it reports of sometimes worrying conditions in the prisons and remand prisons, to justify the demand (Stuttgart Higher Regional Court, decision of 10 March 2014).
