Extradition to Singapore

Zurück zur Länderliste

Extradition to Singapore (Republic of Singapore) is governed by the German-British Extradition Treaty of May 1872 in the version of the German-British Agreement of February 1960 "On the Extradition of Fugitive Criminals" (BGBl. 1960 II p. 2191). Requests for extradition are transmitted through diplomatic channels.

If, in an individual case, extradition to Singapore appears possible, provisional arrest for extradition may be imposed in Germany against the persecuted person.

Singapore seeks persecuted persons with an international arrest warrant worldwide via Interpol.
