Extradition to Norway (official: Kingdom of Norway) is possible under the European Convention on Extradition of 13 December 1957 (Federal Law Gazette 1964 II p. 1369, 1371; 1976 II p. 1778; 1982 II p. 995) in conjunction with the Second Additional Protocol of 17 March 1978 to the aforementioned Convention. In addition, there is a supplementary extradition agreement between Germany and Norway of 27 August and 22 October 1973 respectively.

In the most recently published extradition statistics, Norway is always listed with 3 to 10 extradition requests to Germany per calendar year.
